Licensing and Usage Certificate for Restaurants
When you subscribe to our restaurant music service, you can access and download from your Customer Area a certificate confirming the use of the SoundToro catalogue in your venue in accordance with the service terms.
This document includes information related to your venue, such as the address, the covered area and the licence period. It is the certificate you can show, together with your invoice, in the event of an inspection or a service-related check.
Our catalogue includes works by authors who are not affiliated with collective management organisations, as well as works whose rightsholders have granted the necessary authorisations for this type of use. This gives you a professional, clear and documented music solution for commercial use in restaurants.

In some restaurants, softer styles such as jazz, ambient or chill-out work especially well, while in others a more dynamic selection may be more suitable. - No. The certificate and the documentation associated with the service only cover the SoundToro catalogue streamed through the official platform. The use of external music sources falls outside the scope of the service.
- TV, radio and other audiovisual content may include repertoire outside the SoundToro catalogue and may therefore be subject to different legal obligations. For this reason, it is advisable to assess background music and other audiovisual sources separately.
- SoundToro provides a usage certificate and service documentation so you can demonstrate that you are using the SoundToro catalogue in your venue in accordance with the contracted service terms. To rely on that documentation, it is important to use only our catalogue through the official platform.
